Speaking

He shows up with the books.

Devin speaks to students, libraries, youth programs and child-welfare organizations — then donates copies of his work to the audience and to the local school library before he leaves.

Devin Paladino is an aspiring motivational speaker dedicated to inspiring others to reach their full potential. Through his engaging presentations, Devin combines powerful storytelling, visual aids, and lessons from his own life experiences to show how mindset and perseverance can overcome even the toughest challenges. His talks aim to motivate audiences to take action, embrace growth, and strive to be better every day.

Devin also showcases his published works during his events, in which he donates copies to audience members and local school libraries to continue spreading his message of hope and self-improvement beyond the stage.

The talks

Three talks, one promise.

Each runs as a single keynote or an assembly-length session, and each ends with books in the audience's hands. TBC — confirm running times and formats with Devin.

01

For students, youth programs, foster & child-welfare audiences

The ending isn't written yet

The numbers young people in care hear quoted about themselves — and what it actually took to land somewhere those numbers didn't predict. Devin tells it the way he lived it: the move from home to home, the one adult who paid attention, the decision that was finally his to make.

  • The statistic is not the prophecy. Where those numbers come from and what they do and don't say about you.
  • One adult changes the arithmetic. What a teacher, coach or caseworker is actually worth.
  • The first decision that's yours. Finding the one thing in the day that nobody else controls.

02

For schools, libraries and literacy programs

One page at a time

How reading and then writing became the way out, and how a first-time author went from a single notebook to ten self-published books on the shelves at Walmart, Barnes & Noble and Amazon. Built for reluctant readers as much as for the ones already writing in notebooks.

  • You already have the story. Recognizing the material in your own life.
  • Write it without permission. The practical route from notebook to published book.
  • Get it into someone's hands. Why a book only matters once somebody else reads it.

03

For conferences, colleges and staff audiences

Turning pain into purpose

The talk behind the book of the same name. Resilience, discipline and leadership for an audience old enough to do something with what they have carried — including the adults whose job is carrying other people's.

  • Discipline when nobody is watching. The unglamorous part that does the work.
  • Give back where it started. Why Devin keeps returning to Rockford.
  • Build a life worth writing about. Turning the story forward instead of over.
